THE ULTIMATE X-PANDING DRUM

The heart and soul of the Ultimate Grinder is available as a retrofit part for the Bull Wheel.

4” wide x 12” diameter expanding rubber drum built on a one piece cast aluminum drum has been precision machine and balanced at 10,000 rpm to ensure that the drum runs true and smooth. 

If you have experience with this type of drum sander you will quickly appreciate the vibration free and quiet operation of our drum.  Try it and we are confident that you will agree it is the best running high speed expanding drum that you have ever used.

Our expanding drum operates at a much lower noise level than other drums of this type.  Most people agree that the use of ear plugs is not required when using the Ultimate Drum.  (We recommend the use of hearing protection, safety glasses and of course an approved respirator.)

With the machine at rest the sanding belt quickly slips off the drum allowing you to change grits very quickly.  This rapid change of the sanding media is one but one of the features of this drum.  Our proprietary manufacturing process was developed over years of trial and error costing many thousands of dollars has produced a drum that runs quietly allowing quick changing of the belts and creating a finely sanded surface on whatever you throw at it.
