We specialize in appraisals of lapidary materials and collector specimens from the Northwestern United States.
 | If you have material from these collecting sites please contact us with your appraisal needs. We will arrange to view your collection either by coming to you location or if a smaller amount shipping the material to us for a written appraisal.
Our appraisals are compiled from at least 2 different opinions from our appraisal network. This network consists of dealers who have been collecting, buying and selling materials from the northwest United States since 1965. Our appraisals and are based data from actual market sales experience gained from local and internet sales.

We service collections, shop closeouts, estates, individual specimens or on material lots. Appraisals may be needed for donation value or to determine the insurance value of your collection. Whatever your need is please contact us to discuss.
 | Our fees are based individually on the appraisal job. Please contact us for an estimate for your job. We base our estimates on a tier type of scale and of course the more that you want i.e. preparing (boxing, mounting, cleaning, labeling) specimens, pictures, IRS forms, insurance forms, travel, lodging, shipping etc. will add to the price. Straight billing based on man hours is done at $65/hour. |
