NOTES:
- Services will be billed at full costs regardless of the success of the processing. This means that once a specimen is cut or polished, it must be accepted by the customer regardless of the nature of the specimen. We are sympathetic if you are disappointed in a rock that has been cut or polished but still need to collect payment. In your absence we will stop processing your order and consult with you before continuing to process specimens that is questionable in quality. We are willing to polish a small test sample of your material if we have no prior experience with the it.
- Geodes- the surface area of a geode is calculated is if it were not a geode. No discounts are given for the hollow area in the face of a geode.
- We reserve the right to refuse work on certain materials.
- We will not process any lead bearing or other ores that might present a health or environmental hazard.
- We discourage polishing both sides of thin slabs. If the slab is damaged during the polishing of the second side of a thin slab (< 3/16 inch) we will charge for the full amount of the processing.
- We must charge a slightly higher fee for customer sawn pieces that have deep saw marks for excessive time on the flat lap. We will consult you prior to adding additional charges over the above published prices.

We only use low toxicity, no odor transformer oil in our saws.
